Mother and Children by the Sea

Mother and Children by the Sea
-Brigitte Leal

-Spencer Law
Mother dressed in ocean blue,
Iron child in orange.
Both walking barefooted,
dimly besides the sea.

The sound of waves,
whistling besides them.
Moral stories within the air,
Neither one weeping.

Holding his mother’s cloth,
being guided to the destination.
Knowing there is only right,
and no wrong.
